FARM FRESH FOR FOODIE FRIDAY
http://designsbygollum.blogspot.com
Aspen, Colorado, in the summertime, is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. For a number of years, we've spent a week there, in June, for the Food&Wine Magazine Classic. On Saturday, the local farmer's market is always at the top of my agenda. They offer a wide variety of fresh produce from local farms, fresh eggs, herbs, homemade breads, pastries, cheeses, jellies and cured meats. And, you should see the flowers! But, I'll save those for a future post.
And, just think! ... It's all low cal and mostly fat-free!
And, then there's THIS!
Life is short. Eat dessert first!
