SEA CREATURES!

On a recent trip to Destin, Florida, these curious and amazing sea creatures were everywhere. There were thousands of them in the Gulf, as well as in the Bay. They were slimy and yet somewhat sticky and quite heavy. We could see them breathing!  Although you can't ell from the pictures, some of them looked solid white, while others had a pink or lavender tinge to them. I'm not sure if they were some kind of jellyfish or sea anemones? In all my years of being a "beach bunny" (lol) I've never encountered these creatures before. Anybody know what these are?

  2. Those are amazing. I've never seen anything quite like it. At first glance I thought it was some sort of jelly fish, but I'm thinking you wouldn't be able to handle them like that if they were. Cool pictures. La
