Sometimes it seems like a book that I've randomly picked up at Target or somewhere ends up being one of my favorites. This was the case with To Be Sung Underwater, by Tom McNeal. A very enjoyable story, it raises the age-old question, "What are we here for?" One reason that was suggested is as follows:
"I'm sure one of the things we're here for is to make certain that those whom we love fall asleep each night assured of that love."
This really resonated with me, and I can't get it out of my mind. Maybe somebody else will enjoy pondering this, as well!
