Charles Faudree is one of my all-time favorite designers. I have been following his work for years and have all his books. Several years ago, much to my delight, I discovered that he would be in Atlanta. he was autographing his latest book at one of my favorite shops, Boxwoods (click for details). He was a friendly and charming man. When I told him that we had "matching" dogs, his dogs autographed ( with paw prints!) the book to my dogs---such fun!
I think everything he does has so much personality. His rooms are always stylish, warm and welcoming.
Another of my long-time favorites is Carolyne Roehm.
with these amenities...?
Hellooooo! Honeysuckle and Hissy Fits? I am you before meds! Charles Faudree, love, love love. Why does Tulsa seem to be the center of French Country in America? I'm an Okie transplant to Tennessee so I feel free to ask this question. So glad I found your blog, let's do lunch.
ReplyDeleteThat was cool about the dogs. I loved all the blues...I can only imagine...what fun! :D
ReplyDeleteLOVE Charles! And I remember reading somewhere what a charming man he is. Those blues are just fabulous!

ReplyDeleteI have all of Charles Faudree books, too and I have the Blue and White book by Carolyn. How neat that you met him in person. It would be fun for you and I to meet some day, too. Have a good blue Monday.
