Tracy, I sure hope they contain that spill some how some way. My dad lives in Destin on the bay, but not the beach. My husband's brother and wife live on the gulf, too.
Such a beautiful place. Our coastline is a treasure, and I pray that the spill will be contained soon. Thank you for linking to Wednesday Gratitude today! Have a wonderful week. XO heidi - Heart and Home
This is not just a local tragedy but a world tragedy where Nature is concerned. The seas have a habit of carrying toxics for quite some time. On the positive side, perhaps this tragedy - getting attention in all the international news - may push the BIG companies into more stringent safety procedures. Really hope all this works out soon!
What is happening to the gulf is so awful, there just are no words. We pray everyday that the land and the people come out of this sooner than later. God Bless our country and may she heal quickly. Happy Pink Saturday, Char
Your pictures are so pretty. It is such a helpless feeling to watch the oil spew out and spread. I am sorry for those directly impacted and know that sooner or later we will all be paying for this in some way.
Such beautiful pictures. I lived in Naples Florida for years. I hope this oil spill gets contained soon. This is so sad.
