BLUE MONDAY

http://smilingsally.blogspot.com

I know that a bathroom rug is not terribly exciting. But, I was so intrigued when I found this one: It's made from strips of old blue jeans!  Woven by a local lady, I found it in one of my favorite shops, A Place Remembered. Since I'm going for a bit of a vintage-look, with beadboard cabinets and a top-mount vessel sink, I thought this rug was just the perfect touch. And, it's washable, of course!

And, a little more blue, in the granite countertop and a few little accessories...

HAPPY BLUE MONDAY!

  2. I thought the rug was pretty to begin with. Then... oh my goodness my eyes were popping out trying to get the best look I could! How great is that! I love it! I am sure the picture just doesn't do it to it's best justice! I also like the shot of the mirror and the reflection of the towels. It's peaceful to me for some reason.

    Be Blessed this week!

  9. My mil used to make rugs like that. We had to put no slip mats under them though or you'll fly across the floor. Love all your photos.
