A sunny day in the 70's on February 29th! Yep, this is why I live on the Gulf Coast! Cupcake and Cowboy play on the beach all day long, except when they're running out on the wharf to terrorize pelicans, seagulls, ducks and our resident Great Blue Heron. The birds are soooo [not] scared.
The white azalea bushes are beginning to bloom. I'm crazy for white flowers.
The weeping willow tree is greening up quite nicely.
The little garden of salad greens has flourished all winter (what winter?) long.
The red leaf lettuce is my favorite. Arugula packs a punch in a salad, too.
I love being able to pick fresh oregano and rosemary most every day of the year.
Think Spring!
Oh my gosh...I love your little doggies! To precious! Thanks for stopping by. While I'm a Cali girl...I DO love the south too, my Mother is southern.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking spring as hard as I can, but the sky keeps sending down rain and sleet!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet blog you have - I enjoyed having a look around, from Mosaic Monday. I love your wee pups. They're adorable.
What a beautiful pond side spot you live in! Thank you for checking out my blog.
DeleteOh the pups are too cute! It was a gorgeous day here in central Florida too...days like this are why we live in the South.

Jeanni- What a great dog you have, too! He looks like a big boy!
DeleteHi the pups are beautiful. I saw your comment on Pat's Pink apron. I made banana bread the other day with pineapple and has no taste of the pineapple, so I am not even going to post on my blog. So I thought you had a food blog. Oh well, I'll find another recipe. The weather sounds wonderful for you and the doggies. Here in Maine we are expecting a rather hugh snow fall to come to us tonight. Our winter had been very mild. So will see what happens over the night hours. Thanks andi thewednesdaybaker.blogspot.com
