MERMAID MONDAY

smiling sally.blogspot.com

Thanks to Sally for another fun Monday event!

MERMAIDS, BEACH BABES AND OTHER FUN FINDS

Although, I try not to do "theme" rooms, I let myself go a little bit crazy with my bedroom at the Bay house.

This metal sculpture mermaid hangs on the door, her siren call welcoming us into the room.

I couldn't resist adding some "adornments" --- a couple of earrings that have lost their mates.

This mermaid, painted in oil, hangs over the bed. Kind of the beach version of a guardian angel!

Unfortunately, my poor photography doesn't show the lovely soft shade of green on the walls or the wall-to-wall sea grass on the floor.

This fan pull is a MacKenzie-Childs "copycat"
